Astronomy, Electric Universe, Electromagnetism

The Evershed Effect is described at https://spaceweather.com … of August 4th 2023. Sucking plasma out of sunspots, is one way to describe it. Material flying out of a sunspot is known as the Evershed Effect after astronomer Richard Evershed. He was working, in 1909, at the Kodaikanal solar observatory in India when he witnessed it happening. Like Carrington and Herschel, Evershed was an instrument inventor and builder as well as a keen observer. Evershed discovered sunpot spectra which showed for the first time line displacements in the penumbral region, indicating an outward radial flow.

At https://phys.org/news/2023-08-nasa-voyager-interstellar-shout.html … NASA succeeded in  re-establishing contact with Voyager 2. It is currently 12.3 billion miles away – beyond the solar system.

At https://phys.org/news/2023-08-geomagnetic-field-earth-electron-showers.html … earth’s geomagnetic shield protects the earth from electron showers. The ionosphere contains electrically charged particles that are a mixture of ions and free electrons generated by the interaction of the atmosphere with incoming particles with an origin in the Sun. Electrons collide with gas molecules to create aurorae. The process is enhanced by the effects of the geomagnetic field
