Capturing the Moon

The theory the moon was created after a large space rock impacted early earth – emerging in the explosive aftermath as a result of coalescing debris, was always just a hypothesis without very much in the way of supportive evidence. However, it has remained the consensus preferred theory for a number of years. Now, we have what looks like a return to the idea the moon was captured by earth’s gravity. In the new research paper the scientists have calculated how it may have occurred. One for the specialists to diagnose.
