Neil Oliver, once a BBC regular and commentator on archaeology and history, and the author of several fascinating books on our past, has published a rant aimed at Net Zero. In his own words, a rant. No wonder he is not in favour with the BBC nowadays. Sounds almost like the David Bellamy affair. Worth looking at as he pulls no punches. He has a blog at patreon.com but I have not seen that – but see the link at https://wattsupwiththat.com/2024/10/25/neil-oliver-who-are-these-evil-jokers/ .. a good question. Who are the anonymous people pushing and funding Net Zero. How do modest earning politicos become multi millionaires with beach front properties that are more grand than palaces?
He describes these people as odd, rather than weird, a relatively polite way of looking at them. He is speaking about the people that seem to be in charge of the western world, at the moment. In this he includes heads of state as well as high profile people steeped in climate change propaganda. He makes the point, these are peculiar people, as far as ideology and morals are concerned. They live in a bubble, it would seem, completely divorced from ordinary people. The elected ones can be removed at election time but not the unelected clique. They go on and on, one administration to the next. He outlines part of a speech by one of these odd people, refering to sticks and carrots. He calls him an unaccountable. He was addressing the World Economic Forum. This is a much loved organisation by politicos. The sticks have been largely hidden for some time but they are now coming to the fore. The banning of petrol and diesel vehicles for example, and the political imposition of heat pumps. He says Net Zero is a suicide pact for half the world – reducing 4 billion people to a more earth kindly number. Net Zero includes the destruction of entire ecosystems and environments in order to facilitate the strip mining of rare earth metals – often by using child labour. There is a one thousand per cent increase in mining world wide to look forwards to, in the pursuit of gold, silver, copper, lithium, cobalt, etc. Yet, nobody is being asked if they agree with any of this. It is simply going to be imposed. Strong stuff.
