At https://www.sciencealert.com/3-years-after-jwsts-launch-heres-what-it-has-taught-us-about-the-universe …. 27th December 2024, 3 years after the launch of the James Webb Space Telescope, we have a quick look at what has been revealed. It took 30 years to build but in just three years it has revolutionised the consensus view on cosmology. It has revealed many shortcomings in current models of the universe.

At https://www.sciencealert.com/mystery-signals-may-be-coming-from-one-of-the-rarest-stars-in-the-galaxy …. a bright radio signal picked up by a radio telescope in Western Australia, seems to be a signal that resembled a pulsar – but unlike a pulsar, it had super long periods between pulses – and a super long pulse itself. Three of these signals have been discovered so far, from  different locations in the universe. One of which has been traced back toa red dwarf star in a binary orbit with a dwarf star [which is not red].
