The Plasma Universe

Plasma is all around us and the talk will be a journey through space and down to earth, exploring plasma and the numerous applications that can be made of it. Melanie Windridge is a plasma physicist with a PhD from Imperial College where she researched fusion energy. In 2010 she toured the UK as the Institute of Physics Schools Lecture and talked to over 10,000 teenagers on the subject of fusion. The cost for attending is £5 and there is an online booking form.
