Red Giants

Since the Big Banged the universe has been evolving and one of its major components is carbon 12 – but how did it get here? The universe is still growing and so is the amount of carbon, which is an ingredient of life, the story relates, but some modification to the consensus model is required to explain how red giants came into being.
