This is an interesting scenario and is used by Pierre Gosselin at http://notrickszone.com/2013/02/07/monsoons-in-china-fluctuate-in-sync-w… … as a discovery disputing co2 influenced warming – yet it is the possibility it may pump up the role of the Sun and CMEs that might well in the long term be significant. However, that is not the thrust of the paper, as such, which is to show that China's summer rains fluctuate with the solar 11 year cycle (in the 20th century) which may be another way of saying it is influenced by the dominance of the El Nino/ La Nina variations.

Meanwhile, at www.jpl.nasa.gov/news/news.php?release=2013-050&cid=release_2013-050 … we learn that the Spitzer and Hubble telescopes have revealed an infant star that behaves like a strobe light.
