One can see the trapezoidal design so reminiscent of Early Neolithic long barrows built in Britain – a thousand years later. These Early Neolithic people of the North European Plain and the Danube river valley are associated with a distinct pottery style known as Linear Band Pottery Culture (or Linearbandkeramik, LBK) which can be found all the way from the Paris Basin to Ukraine and Moldavia.
