Over at www.spaceweather.com we learn that NOAA are saying there are increasing chances of earth facing solar flares. In addition, come May 24th we may witness a meteor shower out of the ordinary. Some are saying 200 an hour and others are calling it a potential meteor storm – and we haven't had one of them for a long time. The comet itself is currently insignificant, one Comet Linear, which left behind a cloud of debris – and Earth is due to pass through that part of space. The debris in the cloud was shed in the 1800s – when the comet was much more active.
