News on plasma fusion – see http://phys.org/print373880299.html … and meanwhile, at www.washingtonpost.com/news/speaking-of-science/2016/02/04/one-of-saturn… … according to a recent study the inner portion of one of Saturn's rings appears to be more opaque in some areas than in others – an optical illusion that makes the rings look more dense than they are.

At www.washingtonpost.com/news/speaking-of-science/2015/11/23/mars-might-ge… … we are told that Mars might get rigns just like Saturn. According to scientists Phobos, a moon in orbit along with Mars, is actually falling apart due to the gravitational pull of Mars causing the moon to shrink and stretch.

At http://phys.org/print373722701.html … an article in Astrobiology (available free to download at their web site) disputes the idea that Jupiter acts as a shield for the inner planets – @Jupiter:
