The conspiracy continues, it would seem. At https://wattsupwiththat.com/2018/01/30/greenland-getting-colder-but-plea… … a guest author says, Greenland is getting colder but please, keep believing it is getting warmer. It would seem satellite measurements show parts of Greenland are getting colder – but climate scientists urge people to think in terms of this as a blip as climate models say Greenland 'should' be warming. The models don't lie.
At http://notrickszone.com/2018/01/31/latest-data-show-no-sea-level-rise-ac… … satellite data is also involved in this study – but the raw data is manipulated as sea level rise is an important part of the alarmist agenda. This article quotes two German scientists who claim there has been no acceleration in sea level rise over the last 25 years – in spite of all the scare stories that have flushed through the media. This is confirmed by a NASA study (from November 2017) in the Journal of Geophysical Research. It seems that ocean cycles are ignored by climate science sea level models – which is quite a remarkable omission. Satellite measurements can be played around with just as easily as temperature station data. However, old fashioned tide gauges tell another story – showing sea level rise between 1.5 and 2mm a year. Next time the BBC starts spouting off about global sea levels rising to catastrophic levels get your feet back on the ground by reading the above two articles. The same web site has a post on sea levels on the 1st February – also worth reading but more complex in the argument.
