At https://notrickszone.com/2021/05/13/rainforests-near-the-south-pole-and-… … fossilised evidence of temperate rainforests only hundreds of kilometres from the South Pole has been uncovered. The warmest mean month temperature was 18.5 degrees Celsius. The discovery goes back to last year but the climate blog uses it in conjunction with another, more recent study on Antarctica. Over the last 70 years temperatures on Antarctica have not gone up – at all. It seems the Antarctic, like the Arctic region [Ellesmere Island for example], had an environment that was not polar – during the Jurassic and Cretaceous. Trees were growing – in abundance. However, the idea of pole movement is never brought into the discussion. It is out of bounds. Mainstream scientists see it as a career stunting subject to bring up – even if they could get the idea published.
At https://phys.org/news/2021-05-kelp-maggots-mycoprotein-future-foods.html … Climate change is going to make it difficult to grow food in the future – even though 2020 was a record year for global farm production. Year after year the amount of food grown or raised goes up but year on year we are berated that in the future crop yields will collapse. It's like a stuck record. Now we have an academic study that tells us what the oiks will be eating in years to come. It begins by telling us that temperatures around the globe are getting hotter and wil rise to levels that will not sustain current farming practises. Controlled environmental food growing systems are the future, we are assured. They have it all worked out and nobody will starve. These growing systems will produce food from spiradine, chlorella, the larvae of insects, mycoproteins, and algae [such as sugar kelp]. The mycoprotein is already in the shops – a meat substitute for the vegetarians. The message from these academics is clear – give up chewing on a piece of meat and a spoon full of maggots down your throats. Sounds like the looney tunes are coming out of the woodwork.
