The Annual General Meeting of the SIS was held on Sunday 9th November at the Library Association in Ridgmount Street, London.
- Harold Tresman, as the Chairman, gave an account of developments on the Velikovskian front over the last year
- Dr Newgrosh gave a talk on the subject of Venus Before Exodus. He outlined the ideas of Martin Sieff on the catastrophic destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, and made a strong case for there being parallels with Exodus and Joshua’s destruction at Jericho. There was, he said, compelling evidence for Venus being the catastrophic agent – both from mythological and archaeological viewpoints.
