Tim Cullen takes a swipe at the greenhouse effect at http://malagabay.wordpress.com/2014/03/26/greenhouse-effect-reality-check/ whilst another blogger takes a swipe at Arrhenius – go to http://diggingintheclay.wordpress.com/2014/03/23/challenging-arrhenius-a…
On the same day a no nonsense Aussie MP, Dennis Jensen, has asked for info on BOM and CSIRO date as he says temperature data on which CAGW is built are some way faulty – and he has requested an audit. That will get the chickens clucking – go to http://joannenova.com.au/2014/03/dennis-jensen-mp-calls-for-audit-on-the… … This has, naturally, got the Greens in a huffle – but what are they worried about, they keep telling us these guys are scientists. Jensen notes there was a similar rate of warming between 1910 and 1945 as there was in the 1980s and 1990s. He wants to know why old historical climate records are ignored etc. Jensen, it should be noted, is not a rabble rouser as such – he is the sole science based PhD in the Australian parliament. He is also the only asking the question – an important one when it comes to government spending.
Jennifer Marohasy has been in contactg with Jensen – on confirmation bias. This leads peopoe treating data selectively and it favours information in support of their beliefs (ignoring information to the contrary). Go to http://jennifermarohasy.com/2014/01/open-letter-requesting-verification-…
