Jennifer Marohasy, at www.climatelab.com.au … says there is evidence to suggest the last 20 years of temperature readings by the Australian Bureau of Meteorology, from hundreds of automatic weather stations spread across Australia, may be invalid. Why? Because they have not been recorded consistent with calibration.
Somewhat desperate to prove her wrong the bureau produced some Fast Facts. She says these actually confirm the institute has mucked it up – see http://jennifermarohasy.com/2017/09/bureau-management-rewrites-rules/ … This came a few days after the buraeu issued a 77 page report attempting to explain why they do what they do – all this in spite of MS11 cards being installed into weather stations to prevent them from recording cold temperatures. Seems like the Australian equivalent of the Met Office has been caught with their pants down. Actually, installing cards to block cool temperature recording smacks of fraud. Are these people wiggling yet?
