At www.heritagedaily.com/2020/04/origin-of-the-first-known-interstellar-obj… … on an article published in Nature Astronomy (April 2020) https://doi.org/10.1038/s41550-020-1065-8 … what was the origin of the interstellar object Oumoumua? Where did it come from? It was long and slendour and sailed through the solar system. Unike comets this object was dry – and unlike comets was near invisible. It is now thought there are many interstellar objects that pass through our piece of space – mostly going unnoticed. The study goes on to say we cannot rule out the idea they may have seeded life (such as bacteria) wherever they go. This is interesting as the following post provides a link to an interview of Chandra Wickramasinghe, a lasting proponent of the idea life was seeded from space.
