Interstellar Asteroids

It seems the idea of interstellar objects captured by our sun is gaining ground. A Brazilian study claims to have identified 19 asteroids from outer space. They are currently classified as centaur object with an unknown origin. They rotate around the sun in the region between the orbits of Jupiter and Neptune. Bill Napier, on the other hand, has claimed the centaur objects are huge comets that periodically break free of Jupiter and enter the inner solar system. What are the centaurs? Perhaps that should be clarified.
