Manufacturing Aurorae

Admittedly, they are somewhat dim, like a pea soup without the ham, but an aurora of sorts none the less. They represent a bit of energy input into the upper atmosphere – at night. They are dubbed, diffuse auroras, a fitting description – but perhaps one that requires a bit further research.
