The James Webb Space Telsscope confirms the mysterious spurt in growth. We are told something strange is happening. Mind you, it is only strange to adherents wedded to the mainstream mantra. Most people are entirely neutral on the subject. Let the evidence take us wherever. We are told we may need to rethink our understanding of the universe. Again, it is mainstream sycophants that need to rethink. The rest of us simply accept the fact and realise science consensus is not infallible. New evidence can replace old ideas. We may note that mainstream propenents constantly get things wrong – just as they often get them right. Why not admit they don’t know. Why insist on using sticky plaster on a falible theory. It could even be argued it is long overdue that cosmologists, in particular, need to re-examine treasured points of view. Why not have a re-look at red shift while they are about it. Halton Arp provided an alternative view on the subject but mainstream stalwarts rigorously ignored the ideas he had the audacity to suggest might explain some peculiarities of cosmology and the way establishment astromers and astrophysicists looked at it from the perspective of what they were seeing in their space telescopes. Instead, they were incensed they were being challenged, and saw to it that he was banished from telescope time, and forced to migrate to a more friendly environment. He went on to carry on looking at red shift and wrote a number of important articles on the subject, duly ignored and disappeared from public consumption by the mainstream cartel. Nowadays, of course, you can view Halton Arp on You Tube and SIS has one of them on its web site. Too late as far as his career is concerned but illuminating for Joe Public. It is not just climate science that does not like kick back by a minority. It is rampant across academia.
Mainstream of course are throwing out red herrings instead of engaging with red shift scepticism. For example, we are told that dark energy might be involved. Or, they have missed something out of their model of the workings of the early universe. An unknown component. I wonder what that might be?
