William sent in an interesting link. Rather than a sky ark traversing a heavenly Nile, or Jordan, there is a wide body of people who think the ark was an earthly creation – and it has been found on a mountain in eastern Turkey. Lots of words over the years have followed the detective work of Fasold and Wyatt, and a considerable negative reaction by mainstream. In a group email sent by the daughter of Donald Patten, author of a series of books that involve catastrophism and Bible events, we have an attachment. It is a section of a book by Jonathan Gray, ‘The Ark Conspiracy‘ – which appears to describe the exploits of Fasold and Wyatt and how they came to look for it, not on Mount Ararat, but in its foothills. It involves the Golden Numbers sequence – as discovered by Fibonacci [the ratio of 2 – 3 – 5]. It seems both Fasold and Wyatt, who both wrote popular books on their exploits, were intrigued by numbers. And numbers revolve around the ark, even in the Bible. They used these numbers to find a possible location – and then went out to find it in real life. Strangely, it is not far from where the borders of Iran, Armenia and Turkey meet each other. Hence, it might be worth seeing if the book and its contents are available on the Net.
